It’s time for the Charlotte Bobcats to play D.J. White more

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Steppin Up by admin on Wednesday 21 March 2012 at 6:37 pm

The Bobcats are 7-37 on the year, so they need to start looking at some of their younger players.  With that in mind, 25-year old power forward D.J. White should start getting more P.T. soon.  White has played in 36 games (9 starts) for the Bobcats so far this year and he is averaging 19.5 minutes, 7.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.  White is shooting 51.3% from the floor this year, so he should be playing more as the Bobcats’ offense flat out stinks right now.  The Bobcats have nothing to lose by giving White more minutes the rest of this year.

The Charlotte Bobcats buy out Boris Diaw

The Charlotte Bobcats have bought out 29-year old forward Boris Diaw.  Diaw played in 37 games (28 starts) for the Bobcats this year and he averaged 27.5 minutes, 7.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.  He has now played in 260 games (251 starts) in his four years with the Bobcats and he averaged 34.3 minutes, 11.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.  Diaw shouldn’t be out of work long but the Bobcats will be better off without him because of his attitude.
