In those games, Wallace has averaged 39.0 minutes, 20.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.0 blocked shot per game. The Bobcats miss the all out effort that Wallace gives on both sides of the basketball court in addition to his talent.

The Charlotte Bobcats waive guard Jeff McInnis

Blogged under Big Bobcats News,Bloglockers,Comings & Goings,Front Page,General by alleyoop on Sunday 2 March 2008 at 3:34 pm

This was a strange move for the Bobcats as McInnis was having a semi-decent season for the Bobcats. He played in 54 games (26 starts) this season for the Bobcats and he averaged 26.1 minutes, 4.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. He shot 43.4% from the floor and 76.7% from the free throw line this season. McInnis will probably hook on with a contender that is looking for a backup point guard.

The Charlotte Bobcats should start letting their rookies play a little bit more

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Rookie Reports by alleyoop on Sunday 2 March 2008 at 12:01 pm

With the Bobcats season going down the tubes they should let their rookies play more and see what they have in them. Jared Dudley has played pretty well when given the chance to play. He has played in 49 games (9 starts) so far this season for the Bobcats and he is averaging 14.4 minutes, 4.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. Dudley has shot 48.9% from the floor this season as most of his shots are from close range. He does need to improve his free throw shooting as he’s only converted 68.3% of them. Jermareo Davidson has spent some time in the D-League but the Bobcats should see what he can do as they don’t have much to lose right now. Davidson has played in 23 games this season for the Bobcats and he is averaging 8.7 minutes, 3.3 points, 1.7 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. He has not shot well from either the floor (39%) or the free throw line (65%) and that will need to improve if he wants to get more playing time.
