The Charlotte Bobcats are pleased with their rookies so far

Blogged under Bloglockers, Rookie Reports, Front Page, Uncategorized by alleyoop on Thursday 27 December 2007 at 12:56 pm

Forwards Jared Dudley and Jermareo Davidson have both played decent so far as rookies and they both appear to have nice upsides to their games. Dudley has played in 23 games so far this season and he is averaging 13.7 minutes, 4.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. Dudley could be ready to play more minutes as he has handled the pro game pretty well so far. Jermareo Davidson also has played decent in his limited time on the court this season. Davidson has played in 14 games so far this season and he is averaging 7.3 minutes, 2.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game.

Raymond Felton is off to a slow start in December for the Charlotte Bobcats

Blogged under Bloglockers, Need to step up, Front Page by alleyoop on Tuesday 11 December 2007 at 11:48 pm

Raymond Felton has been shooting bricks at an alarming rate in December and it’s killing the offense. Felton has only hit 30.4% of his shots from the floor this month and that just won’t get it done. He has played in 5 games this month and he is averaging 30.6 minutes, 9.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. If Felton doesn’t improve his shooting the Bobcats will have a tough time scoring points.

Gerald Wallace is having a good month for the Charlotte Bobcats

Blogged under Bloglockers, Steppin Up, Front Page by alleyoop on Tuesday 11 December 2007 at 11:44 pm

Gerald Wallace has been solid all around in December. Wallace has played in 5 games this month and he is averaging 35.4 minutes, 16.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.2 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. Wallace is by far the best player on the Bobcats as he gives 100% of both sides of the basketball court and it rubs off on his teammates so they need to keep him healthy.

The Charlotte Bobcats are off to a bad start

Blogged under Bloglockers, Game Recaps, Front Page by alleyoop on Tuesday 11 December 2007 at 11:37 pm

The Charlotte Bobcats are 7-12 on the season which has them in 4th place in the Southeast Division, 7.5 games behind the Magic. The Bobcats poor offense is hurting them as they are only averaging 91.7 points per game so far this season. They are also allowing 97.8 points per game and they will need to improve on that number if they want to start winning more games this season.

The Charlotte Bobcats need to get Walter Herrmann more playing time

Blogged under Bloglockers, Need to step up, Front Page by alleyoop on Tuesday 4 December 2007 at 4:58 pm

The Bobcats must have forgot how well Walter Herrmann played at the end of last season because they have planted him on the bench. Lack of playing time has probably hurt his shooting a little bit because he hasn’t had enough time to get in sync. Herrmann has played in 12 games so far this season for the Bobcats and he has averaged only 10.8 minutes, 3.8 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. Herrmann is only shooting 34.7% from the floor and he’s a much better shooter than that.
