The Bobcats laid a second consecutive egg last night in Philly as they only shot 30.7% from the floor as a team. Matt Carroll came off of the bench to lead the Bobcats with 16 points and 3 rebounds. The Bobcats absolutely got blitzed by the Suns last night in a game that was never competitive. Rookie Jared Dudley had a outstanding game off of the bench with 16 points and 11 rebounds but he was the only player that really seemed interested in playing. Gerald Wallace was 4 for 12 from the floor and he finished with 12 points and 4 rebounds. Raymond Felton also had a rough game as he shot 4 of 11 from the floor and he finished with 12 points and 3 assists. The Bobcats are now 2-1 on the season.

The Bobcats built up a 75-63 lead after three quarters but then they had to fight off a surging Heat team to prevail in the end. Jason Richardson led the way for the Bobcats with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist. Raymond Felton did a good job of running the show with 19 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. Emeka Okafor had a solid game in the paint with 16 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocked shots. The Bobcats are now 2-0 on the season.

The Bobcats won this game despite only hitting 22 of 43 free throws! They should have won this game by more than 10 points but the game wasn’t decided until the last seconds. Raymond Felton had an outstanding game as he had 26 points, 3 rebounds, 12 assists and 2 steals. Gerald Wallace also had a stat sheet stuffer with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
