The Charlotte Bobcats are pleased with point guard Raymond Felton

The Bobcats have given the keys to the car to Raymond Felton and he’s responded well to the extended minutes he’s getting this season. His shooting has improved as he’s hitting 42.3% from the floor and 80.7% from the free throw line so far this season. Felton has now played in 13 games this season and he’s averaged 37.0 minutes, 16.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game. If Felton keeps playing at this level the Bobcats will have a legit chance to make the playoffs.

The Bobcats didn’t play any defense last night as the Hawks hit 59.7% of their shots from the floor. The Hawks also outrebounded the Bobcats 38-29 in this game. Gerald Wallace led the way for the Bobcats with 27 points and 6 rebounds. Jason Richardson also had a really good game with 27 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Raymond Felton did a good job of running the offense with 16 points and 5 assists. The Bobcats are now 4-4 on the season.

The Bobcats won this game with rebounding and defense. The Bobcats held the Heat to 38.5% shooting from the floor and they outrebounded them 47-38 which were two big keys to victory. Gerald Wallace led the way for the Bobcats with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Jason Richardson also had a solid game with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Emeka Okafor pitched in with 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Bobcats are now 4-3 on the season.

The Bobcats folded like a tent in the 4th quarter as the Rockets outscored them 25-17 to win the game. The Bobcats only shot 39.7% from the floor and they were outrebounded 47-34 and those were two big reasons for the loss. Matt Carroll led the way for the Bobcats with 17 in 30 minutes off of the bench. Jason Richardson had a rough shooting night (7 for 21) but he still finished up with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Raymond Felton had a decent game running the offense with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. The Bobcats are now 3-3 on the season.

The Bobcats laid a second consecutive egg last night in Philly as they only shot 30.7% from the floor as a team. Matt Carroll came off of the bench to lead the Bobcats with 16 points and 3 rebounds. Emeka Okafor provided some muscle around the basket with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 2 blocked shots. Gerald Wallace had a awful shooting night as he was only 3 for 11 from the floor and he finished with 10 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. The Bobcats are now 2-2 on the season.

The Bobcats absolutely got blitzed by the Suns last night in a game that was never competitive. Rookie Jared Dudley had a outstanding game off of the bench with 16 points and 11 rebounds but he was the only player that really seemed interested in playing. Gerald Wallace was 4 for 12 from the floor and he finished with 12 points and 4 rebounds. Raymond Felton also had a rough game as he shot 4 of 11 from the floor and he finished with 12 points and 3 assists. The Bobcats are now 2-1 on the season.

The Bobcats built up a 75-63 lead after three quarters but then they had to fight off a surging Heat team to prevail in the end. The Bobcats won this game despite only hitting 22 of 43 free throws! They should have won this game by more than 10 points but the game wasn’t decided until the last seconds. Raymond Felton had an outstanding game as he had 26 points, 3 rebounds, 12 assists and 2 steals. Gerald Wallace also had a stat sheet stuffer with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Jason Richardson had a nice debut with the Bobcats with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Emeka Okafor was tough in the paint with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocked shots. The Bobcats are now 1-0 on the season.
