The Bobcats played good defense as they held the Mavericks to 39% shooting from the floor on Monday Night. But, they were out-rebounded 48-37 and that caused some problems in the loss.

Can’t blame Emeka Okafor for the loss! He scored 22 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked 8 shots. Gerald Wallace had a good game with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Raymond Felton (12 points) and Sean May (10 points) each pitched in on offense. Adam Morrison had another poor shooting night (3 of 14) and wound up with 7 points.

The Bobcats are now 2-8 on the season.

The Bobcats had a rough time against the Magic and fell to 2-8 on the season.

The Bobcats played a great game last night. The Bobcats played awesome defense as they held the Spurs to 37.5% shooting from the floor. The Bobcats did get pounded on the boards by the Spurs 63-41, but they prevailed anyway.

Adam Morrison had his best game as a pro with 27 points & 4 rebounds.  Emeka Okafor was a beast in the paint with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals and 5 blocks. Raymond Felton scored 17 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 3 assists. Brevin Knight also had a decent game with 10 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists.

Tbe Bobcats really played hard and they blew a nice lead in the 4th quarter, but they showed great heart and determination in the overtime period and got a HUGE win. They improved their record to 2-6 on the season.

The Bobcats played hard last night, but it just wasn’t enough to win the game. Can’t blame Emeka Okafor for the loss as he had a monster game. Okafor scored 25 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked 7 shots. Adam Morrison had his best game as a pro with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Sean May also had a good game with 18 points and 11 rebounds.Â

It’s too bad the guards didn’t do their part or the Bobcats would have won this basketball game.  The Bobcats now stand at 1-6 on the season.

Bobcats can’t keep up with the Nuggets and lose 108-101

Blogged under Front Page by Nothing but Net on Monday 13 November 2006 at 5:21 pm

The Bobcats out-rebounded the Nuggets 49-36, but they just couldn’t keep up with them on the scoreboard. Emeka Okafor was a monster last night with 22 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. Brevin Knight did his part last night with 21 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Gerald Wallace also played a very good game and scored 20 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. Raymond Felton was solid with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Rookie Adam Morrison had another rough night as he only hit 1 of 8 shots from the floor and scored only 2 points.

When the Bobcats dominate the boards like they did last night, they should win the game. The Bobcats have now fallen to 1-5 on the season.
